Pakistan Hockey Federation ad hoc President Mohiuddin Wani has taken charge of his post.
In a statement after taking charge, Mohiuddin Wani said that time is very short for the World Cup qualifying round, so urgent steps are needed.

He said that the training camp will be started today or tomorrow.
The ad hoc president says that he will meet the players and take important decisions for the betterment of hockey.
It should be noted that the Patron-in-Chief of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, had accepted the resignation of PHF President Tariq Bugti.
Under the government decision, Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani, Secretary of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, was appointed as the ad hoc president of the federation.
