The petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to be reduced from January 16, 2026, as reported by local media channels on Tuesday.
As per details, petrol prices may be reduced by up to Rs4.59 per litre, while high-speed diesel is expected to become cheaper by up to Rs2.70 per litre, based on recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The final decision is pending the Prime Minister’s approval.
