ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that the leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) don’t have any plan or strategy against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
On a social media website Twitter, the minister said “Opposition is now thinking about no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan after facing humiliation on its resignation plan”. No one has the courage to bring a no-confidence motion against the premier, he asserted.

“It is astonishing that the Chief Minister or any public office holder should say, I am not accountable to you. Be it a Minister or a Chief Minister, every citizen is accountable to every citizen. Can’t turn away from government inquiry,” he added.

His statement came after five key leaders of the PDM, including Head Maulana Fazlur Rehman, had opposed the suggestion of proposing a no-confidence motion against PM Imran in the National Assembly.
Earlier, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had announced to table a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan with convincing of his allies.
While addressing a ceremony in Larkana today, the PPP leader said that the PTI ministers were trying to create differences among the opposition however, the puppet will have to go home and the people’s representative will become the prime minister soon.
The two major opposition political parties – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPPP) – appeared divided over the question of a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
PDM Head Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Sajid Mir, Abdul Malik Baloch and Owais Noorani had opposed the in-house change. Most leaders also demanded to convene a summit meeting of PDM leadership.
