ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has revealed that he was not invited to the wedding of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, daughter of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) President Asif Ali Zardari.
It emerged when the PDM chief was asked whether he is attending Bakhtawar’s wedding or not, Fazlur Rehman said: “Whose marriage? I have not been invited to Zardari Sahab’s daughter’s wedding.”
The JUI-F chief also expressed ignorance regarding the event and said that he had not intended to join the wedding ceremony.
In another question regarding renowned politicians who would be participating in the event, Fazlur Rehman said that he does not know about the renowned politicians but he is not invited.
on January 22 the spokesman of Bilawal House had announced the wedding date of PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari’s eldest daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari with her fiancé Mahmood Choudhary.
According to the details, a Milad function will be held on the 24th of January at Bilawal House while a simple Mehndi ceremony will take place on the 27th of this month.
The spokesperson said, “The Nikkah of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari with Mahmood Choudhary will be held on 29th of January while the Barat is scheduled for 30th of January”.
“Around 300 guests are invited to the marriage ceremony. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had suspended his political activities for one week for the special occasion,” he added.
