The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the central contract for the players of the women’s cricket team.
PCB has awarded the central contracts to 16 women’s cricketers for the 2024-25 season, which will be effective from July 1, 2024, a statement issued by the board said.
Last year, 20 cricketers were given central contracts for 2 years with a stipulation that their performance would be reviewed after the 2023-24 season.
Captain Fatima Sana and wicketkeeper-batter Muniba Ali have been promoted to the A category, while left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal has been promoted to the B category due to her recent good performances.
This central contract includes 3 new entries Gul Feroza, Ramin Shamim and Tasmia Rabab. Tasmia Rabab has bagged the central contract for the first time which is a major milestone in her career.Gil Feroza 2018 and Ramin Shamim have managed to bag the central contract again after 2022-23.
Similarly, the central contracts of Nida Dar, Alia Riaz, Anush Nasir, Iman Fatima, Shawal Zulfiqar and Sidra Nawaz have not been renewed, but all these players will remain available for selection.

Diana Baig, Umeema Sohail
Category D:
Ghulam Fatima, Gul Feroza, Najiha Alvi, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shams, Sayeda Aroub, Tasmia Rabab, Tobia Hassan and Umm Hani.
