Pakistan’s exports to Bangladesh have increased by 17%. In a written response submitted during the Senate’s question hour, the Ministry of Commerce stated that exports to Bangladesh saw a 17% increase, while exports to China declined by 13%.
The Ministry of Commerce mentioned that exports to China amounted to $1.3575 billion, down from $1.557 billion.
According to the Ministry, there was a significant decline in sectors such as cotton yarn, oilseeds, petroleum, oil, and vegetable juices.
The Ministry also stated that cotton exports fell, and there was a 100% decrease in the export of horse hides. Furthermore, the Ministry reported a 12% increase in exports to the United States.
Today, Chairman of the Pak-Bangla Friendship Alliance, Kamran Saeed Usmani, has expressed his commitment to further strengthening the fraternal and friendly relations between the two neighboring countries.
