BEIJING: The official Twitter account of the consulate general of Pakistan in Chengdu, China was hacked the other day.
The hackers posted about the freedom and rights of the Uighur Muslims in China and it took no time for Pakistan to issue its official statement to distance itself from the tweet.

Taking to Twitter, Pakistan’s Foreign Office distanced itself from any tweets which were made from Chengdu consulate general’s office, saying any tweet or message issued from this account is not made by the Pakistan Consulate General Chengdu nor does it reflect the position of the government of Pakistan.
