ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday in a message on the event of the Kashmir Solidarity Day, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the whole Pakistani nation stands united with the people of Kashmir and rejects Indian occupation in the valley.
The Foreign Minister said that the world community should act in respect of the fundamental freedoms and human rights of Kashmiris and ask India to allow the UN Fact-Finding Mission to Occupied Kashmir to investigate allegations of serious human rights abuses there.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said, “Every second on the shutdown clock is a burden on the collective conscience of the world.”
Earlier on the day, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the fiction of India’s democracy was fully exposed as Pakistan observed Kashmir Solidarity Day to express the nation’s full support for the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination under the UN resolutions.
Prime Minister Imran Khan in a message said, “Today, we observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day to reaffirm our unflinching support for our Kashmiri brothers and sisters who have been subjected to an inhuman lockdown and communications blockade for six months now.”
