RIYADH: A Pakistani carpenter has become a model in Saudi Arabia.
According to media reports, a 24-year-old Pakistani named Waqas came to Saudi Arabia four years ago. He worked as a carpenter there.
Although, he never imagined becoming a model in advertising. However, from being a carpenter, the young man ended up becoming a model.

In an interview with international media, Waqas said, “I came to Saudi Arabia four years ago to work as a carpenter. And I never thought of becoming a model in advertising.” He continued to say, “One day I saw my friend (Faisal) editing the photos of a photo session. I told him that since childhood I have wanted to work in this field but in Pakistan, I did not get the chance, so my friend suggested and took a picture of me and sent it to the relevant person.”
The carpenter-turned-model revealed how his friend shared his picture on Twitter. According to Waqas, the picture reached some people related to advertising and had a good response. Moreover, he also talked about how agreements were made with the institutions later on.
