Atlas Honda, a famous motorcycle manufacturer in Pakistan, has introduced a new and easy way for customers to buy a motorcycle from a bank on easy installments without paying any interest.
As per the details, buyers can get a Honda motorcycle in easy monthly installments through Standard Chartered Bank’s “SC Aasan” plan.
Under this scheme, conventional credit card holders can divide their payment into installments of 3, 6, or 12 months, and during this time, they will not have to pay any interest. However, a one-time processing fee according to the installment period must be paid at the time of booking.
If a buyer chooses 3-month installments, a 1.99 percent processing fee will be applicable. For 6-month installments, this fee will be 5.99 percent, while for 12-month installments, an 11.99 percent fee will be applicable. Additionally, extra taxes will be applicable.
In addition, Federal Excise Duty (FED) will also be charged separately according to the region of the customer, the rate of which may vary in different regions.
According to Atlas Honda, the main objective of this scheme is to provide an opportunity to middle-class people to purchase a motorcycle without financial pressure.
The company says that under this facility, customers can get their Honda bike for just Rs 13,000 per month, which will significantly reduce the problems of daily transportation.
