RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has met foreign envoys from European Union, Denmark, and Canada on Tuesday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) today, the army chief has met the Ambassador of EU to Pakistan Androulla Kaminara, Canadian High Commissioner Wendy Gilmour, and Ambassador of Denmark Lis Rosenholm.
During the meetings, matters of mutual interest, regional security and enhanced bilateral cooperation with the European Union (EU) and Canada came under discussion.
On this occasion, the Army chief said that Pakistan values its relations with EU countries and Canada and Pakistan earnestly look forward to enhancing mutually beneficial multi-domain relations based on common interests.
The visiting dignitaries also lauded Pakistan’s role in regional stability, especially the Afghan Peace Process. All sides pledged to play their role for further improvement in diplomatic cooperation at all levels.
Meanwhile, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid a visit a Logistic Installation in Rawalpindi today. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he was briefed regarding various facilities being developed, construction of new sheds and up-gradation of existing infrastructure.
COAS Bajwa appreciated the capacity enhancement of the depot, adopting modern procedures and performance and commitment of the depot in the provision of rations and other commodities at Rawalpindi station and complete Corps Area of Responsibilities (AOR).
