Pakistan has finally decided to hand over Irfan Qadir Bhatti to Norway after an investigation against him. He will be handed over to the European country soon.
As per details, the Federal Cabinet has approved the extradition of Irfan Qadir Bhatti who is facing terrorism charges in Norway.
The Accursed is a dual Norwegian and Pakistani citizen.
The decision was taken on the recommendation of the Interior Ministry.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, Islamabad’s additional deputy commissioner was appointed to lead the investigation against Bhatti. The investigation found him guilty and recommended that he be handed over to Norway
Bhatti was the leader of an organization called “Profetens Ummah” and had pledged allegiance to ISIS.
Bhatti is accused of plotting to attack the US and Israeli embassies and firing shots into the wall of a synagogue in Oslo in September 2006.
A Norwegian court had begun proceedings against him in 2008. If convicted, he could face 12 years in jail.
