ISLAMABAD: Around 620 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country while 4 more citizens have died due to the virus.
According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health, a total of 15,51,871 people have been affected by coronavirus, while 30,474 have died due to the virus. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.
In the last day, 16,704 tests were conducted for the diagnosis of coronavirus, while the ratio of positive cases was 3.71 percent. The total number of tests was 2,94,94,517 while 191 corona patients are in intensive care.

During the last 24 hours, 588 patients overcame the coronavirus across the country, taking the number of recovered people to 15,13,737, while the number of active cases increased to 7,660. Punjab and Sindh were the most affected by the virus.
In Sindh, 5,90,243 people were affected by coronavirus while 8,169 died. In Punjab, 5,12,176 people were affected while 13, 587 lost their lives. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the third largest province affected by the virus.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,2163 people were affected by coronavirus while 6,329 died. In Islamabad, 1,37,221 people were affected by coronavirus while 1,27 died. Round 43,563 coronavirus cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. At least 793 people died due to virus in Azad Kashmir. In Balochistan, 35,756 people have been affected by Corona while 378 have lost their lives. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 11,849 people have been affected by coronavirus while 191 have died.
