ISLAMABAD: At least 313 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 9 more people have died due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,288,366 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,812 people lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 42,978 tests were performed for the diagnosis of coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 22,248,325. Across the country, the corona test result was a positive result of 0.72 percent while the condition of 758 patients is critical.
In the last 24 hours, coronavirus was defeated by 648 people across the country, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,250,069. Mortality remains at 2.2 percent.

The highest number of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 443,747 people fell victim to the virus while 13,048 died. In Sindh, 477,466 cases of coronavirus and 7,631 deaths were reported.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 180,564 people fell victim to corona while 5,879 died. In Balochistan, 33,522 cases of the virus and 363 people lost their lives due to coronavirus.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,600 people were infected with coronavirus and 743 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,425 cases were reported while 186 civilians lost their lives. In Islamabad, 1,08,042 cases and 962 deaths were reported.
