ISLAMABAD: At least 89 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country, with no deaths reported due to the virus in the last 24 hours, but the condition of 44 patients is critical.
According to figures released by the National Institutes of Health, a total of 1,530,967 people were infected with the coronavirus, and 30,379 died of the virus across the country. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.
On the last day, 15,178 tests were done to diagnose coronavirus while the percentage of positive cases was 0.59 percent. The number of tests has increased to 287,18,119 while 44 patients with coronavirus are in intensive care.

The highest number of 577,781 coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh. In Punjab 5 lakh 7 thousand 369, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 2 lakh 19 thousand 709 while in the federal capital Islamabad the result of the coronavirus test of 135 thousand 510 people was positive.
11,752 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 35,504 in Balochistan, and 43,342 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while the highest number of deaths were reported in Punjab where 13,564 patients lost their lives to the virus.

After Punjab, the highest number of 8,106 people died due to coronavirusin Sindh. 6,324 people lost their lives in KPK, 1,024 in Islamabad, 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 378 in Balochistan, and 792 in Azad Kashmir.
