ISLAMABAD: Around 694 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country with no death reported so far but the condition of 101 patients is critical.
According to figures released by the National Institutes of Health, a total of 1,536,479 people were infected with the coronavirus, and 30,395 died of the virus across the country. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.

In the last one day, 17,640 tests were done to diagnose coronavirus while the proportion of positive cases was 3.93 percent. The total number of tests has reached 29 million 10 thousand 676 while 101 patients of Corona are in intensive care.
In the last 24 hours across the country, 121 patients have beaten coronavirus, bringing the number of healthy people to 1,499,762 while the number of active cases has risen to 6,322. Punjab and Sindh were most affected.
In Sindh, 581,046 people were affected by coronavirus while 8,113 died. In Punjab, 58,485 people were affected while 13,571 people lost their lives. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the third largest province infected with the virus.
Coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa affected 220,045 people and killed 6,324. In Islamabad, 136,195 people were infected with coronavirus and 1,026 died. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 43,394 coronavirus cases were reported.
The virus killed 792 people in Azad Kashmir. In Balochistan, 35,553 people were affected by coronavirus while 378 lost their lives. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 11,761 people were infected with coronavirus and 191 died.
