The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) emphasized that Pakistan is not engaged in an arms race with India, stating, “We have never attempted to distort statistics or facts, nor hide the truth.”
According to details, in an interview with the international magazine Bloomberg, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that in the theater of truth, India has not been able to shoot down any Pakistani aircraft. Our military development strategy has focused on effective, efficient platforms and integrating technology.
During the interview, the DG ISPR said that Pakistan is always ready to acquire both indigenous and international technology. He also confirmed the effective performance of Pakistani weapons and Chinese platforms integrated into the armed forces.
Bloomberg, in its report, stated that a week ago, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that 7 Indian aircraft had been shot down. Pakistan’s Chinese-made J-10C aircraft shot down several Indian planes, including Rafale jets.
The report also mentioned that in August, Pakistan announced the induction of Z-10 ME helicopters into its arsenal. Pakistan uses American-made F-16 aircraft alongside Chinese weapons.
