KARACHI: Pakistan Navy successfully maintained the winning of National Sailing Championship title in all three categories at the open sea in Karachi on Monday.
According to the Navy spokesman, as many as 46 sailors took part in the competition which held at the open sea near Clifton beach.
Navy’s Muzammil Hasan bagged the title in Leisure Standard category whereas Rahman-ul-Haq and Khalid Hussain both of Navy took positions in 470 class. In RS:X class, Navy’s Qasim Abbas came out as champion.
Earlier, in 2020, Pakistan Navy successfully had maintained the winning streak in National Sailing Championship and clinched 1st position in all three categories of the championship held at Pakistan Navy Aquatic Club, Karachi.
The three days long National Sailing Championship comprised of Laser Standard, 470 Class and Windsurfing RSX Class categories. Teams of the Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force and Sindh participated in the event.
