Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Pakistan is facing severe water and starvation.
According to details, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing the International Food Security Conference said that hunger has no nationality while epidemic and virus have no borders. Climate change poses a direct threat to food security worldwide, he maintained.
Addressing the World Food Security Conference, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that there is a severe shortage of water in Pakistan and we are facing starvation. The highest temperature was recorded in Sindh. Pakistan faces food security and energy challenges, he added.
During the address, the Foreign Minister said that Pakistan was facing challenges due to climate change. “Joint efforts are needed to ensure global food security. Pakistan provided humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and Afghanistan,” he maintained.

Earlier, FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met his US counterpart Antony Blinken in New York. During the meeting, Pak-US relations, issues of mutual interest, and other global issues were discussed.
The Pak-US foreign ministers met yesterday. On the occasion, Antony Blinken said that strong trade and economic cooperation between the two countries would be discussed with the Pakistani foreign minister and the meeting also included discussions on regional security.
