Security forces killed 15 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in General Area Sambaza of Zhob district on Tuesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the operation, its troops effectively located the hideout of the terrorists and as a result, 15 of them were killed.
A large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the slain terrorists.
However, during the fierce exchange of fire, Sepoy Arif-ur-Rehman made an eternal sacrifice while fighting bravely and was martyred.
A sanitization operation is being conducted to neutralize any other terrorists present in the area.
The ISPR said that Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country alongside the nation and the sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
