Pakistan’s security forces on Saturday foiled an Indian drone attack on the Jacobabad Airbase and shot down three enemy drones successfully.
As per media reports, two drones were down near the Jacobabad Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS). Soon after the incident large number of people reached the site and chanted slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army and Air Force.
Pakistan Army successfully shot down another Indian drone in an area adjacent to Mirpurkhas.
According to the details, the Indian drone fell in Kot Ghulam Mohammabad near Mirpur Khas. Soon after the incident, large numbers of people gathered at the site and chanted slogans in favour of the Pakistan Army.
Earlier, on May 9, 2025, security forces destroyed 78 Indian drones in several cities of Pakistan amid mounting tensions between the neighboring countries.
Security sources said 29 Indian drones had been shot down by the evening of May 8, adding that an additional 48 drones were destroyed since Thursday night.
Security sources confirmed that the Pakistan Army was giving a strong response to the enemy’s aggression. In the latest response, one drone was destroyed in Vehari, one in Pakpattan, and four drones were downed in Okara.
