As reported by ARY News on Sunday, home to some of the world’s most dramatic mountain scenery, Northern Pakistan has become increasingly popular as its security situation has improved, making it more accessible and offering better accommodation options for tourists.
In a bid to boost tourism, Pakistan introduced a groundbreaking initiative in August 2024, offering free online visas to citizens of over 120 countries. This initiative aims to make travel to Pakistan easier and to encourage international tourists to explore its cultural, historical, and natural wonders.
The inclusion in the Financial Times’ list underscores Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its tourism offerings, and with improved infrastructure and accessibility, the country is poised to become a major destination for adventure and cultural tourism in 2025 and beyond.
