ISLAMABAD: Pakistan condemned the latest provocative statements made by Indian Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh during his address in the election rallies in Haryana.
According to sources, Pakistan does not only dismiss the provocative comments but says these statements showcase the mindset of the Bharatiya Janatiya Party.
It is stated in the statement released by Pakistan’s Foreign Office that the BJP mindset is a “mix of extremist ideology, hegemonic ambitions, and obsession with Pakistan”.
It further said, “The threat of splitting of a sovereign country demonstrates the highly irresponsible action of the Indian Defence Minister.” The statement also encouraged the International Community to take notice of the comments made by the Indian Defence Minister.
The FO statement maintained that Rajnath Singh should not doubt the fact that defense forces along with the people of Pakistan are always ready to defend the country.
The FO also refused Rajnath’s help in countering terrorism saying India needs to cease state-terrorism which is going on in the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for decades.
