Pakistan has successfully developed a fully secure mobile phone, specifically designed for government officials.
The device has been created under a pilot project by the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC), with both hardware and software entirely manufactured within the country.
According to NTC officials, the secure handset operates on a specially designed operating system that is not connected to the internet, significantly reducing the risk of cyberattacks.
All applications on the phone are locally developed, and the device supports SIM cards from any telecom operator in Pakistan.
The NTC further stated that the phone does not feature any backup capability, making it impossible to extract data in the event of theft or any security breach.
Officials emphasized that communications through this device cannot be monitored or intercepted, ensuring that sensitive communications of government officials remain fully secure.
