Cricket boards of Pakistan and the United States of America (USA) have vowed to strengthen cricket ties between the two countries shortly. Pakistan has also offered training to the US cricket coaches.
As per details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with the USA Cricket Board Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Johnathan Atkeison in Washington and discussed issues related to cricket between the US and Pakistan.
During the meeting, both cricket chiefs agreed to hold a bilateral cricket series between the two countries in the near future. Naqvi assured his US counterpart of his full support in this regard.
He said that Pakistan would take all necessary measures for the promotion of cricket in the United States. Naqvi offered to provide training to US cricket coaches in Pakistan. He also invited the CEO of USA Cricket to visit Pakistan to watch ICC Champions Trophy matches.
The USA Cricket CEO thanked the PCB Chairman for extending an invitation to him for ICC matches.
Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Salman Naseer was also present during the meeting.
