Orlando Bloom has revealed why he and his fiancée Katy Perry sometimes “battle with emotions and creativity.”
The “Fireworks” singer and the Lord of the Rings actor recently discussed their jobs and relationship, particularly with regard to artistic expression.
“We’re in two very different pools,” he told Flaunt. “Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands. Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging. I won’t lie.”
The couple, who have been together for three years and got engaged in 2019, nevertheless, is still devoted to one another.
“We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity,” the 46-year-old noted, adding that they are aware how blessed they are to have uniquely connected.
The 38-year-old singer visited Las Vegas once more in February for her residency act, Katy Perry: PLAY, which has previously included vibrant attire and a popular party trick involving an eye glitch. Orlando, who has a 2-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove with Katy and a 12-year-old son named Flynn with his ex-girlfriend Miranda Kerr, has been filming a Television show in which he engages in dangerous outdoor sports. He claimed that this left Katy “stressed.”
Though he’s now faced physical danger, Orlando’s next battle comes from within.
“I think not making good on a promise I’ve made to myself, that really scares me,” he said. “To fulfill what-ever that mission is for myself and to maintain a sense of dignity, and not to let the wheels fall off.”
