LAHORE: There is a deadlock on the history of a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan. Opposition meetings and talks so far have proved fruitless.

According to details, Leader of Opposition National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari had another meeting in which the opposition leaders could not reach the deadline for bringing a no-confidence motion against the federal government.

The meeting between former president Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif at Bilawal House Lahore ended inconclusively. At the invitation of the PPP co-chairman, the PML-N president had arrived at Bilawal House with a delegation.

Asif Ali Zardari also hosted a dinner in honor of Shehbaz Sharif and the PML-N delegation. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam was also invited for dinner. Consultations were held between the opposition leaders on the decisive move on the no-confidence motion.

Opposition parties, including the PPP, PML-N, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, have decided to meet again today to take a final decision on the no-confidence motion. Opposition leaders agree that the only way to save the people is to send the government home.
