KARACHI: Famous Pakistani actress, Nimra Khan has rejected speculation that she was assaulted or subjected to domestic violence.
Rumours began floating on social media after Khan posted pictures of her scarred and bruised face on Monday, followed by another with heavy makeup hiding her wounds, one of which she claimed is an internal injury.

She cleared the air by going live on Instagram on Tuesday, where she looked visibly shaken and said her injuries were the result of a fall down the stairs at her parents’ home while she was visiting.
Nimra said she’s recovering well and that her heart is full of the love and prayers she’s received.
Regarding the rumours of assault and violence, she said they are a misconception and that nothing of the sort had happened.
“If someone had hit me, I would never have uploaded those pictures of myself. [Some people] know that I had an accident four or five years ago and I was very positive about life after it [as well]. I had no complaints.”
“Everything happens in accordance with Allah’s plans. Perhaps some of my misdeeds were meant to be washed away. One should always remain positive,” she said.
The actress had married Raja Iftekhar Azam, a police officer in London, in a private ceremony at home during the COVID-19 lockdown in April.
