KARACHI: Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys’ Association (AMUOBA) President and Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, Jawaid Anwar has said new technologies according to the contemporary requirement to curb Cyber Security issues will introduce immediately.
While addressing at the annual general body meeting of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys’ Association (AMUOBA) he said Centre of Excellence for varsity’s Cyber Security has already been established which is a unique center of its own kind and it will connect students to the new technology.
He said Sir Syed University has been assigned to train 500 students in six technologies for Prime Minister Kamyab Jawan Program.
He pointed out that they are planning to establish a boarding university at 200 acres’ land of the university in Education City.
He said “Architectural design and town planning are ready that includes academic block, hostel, mosque and gate. We are working on the 5-year strategic plan”.
Chancellor also vowed to work continuously and sincerely for the promotion and success of the institutions that are linked with the name of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.
On this auspicious occasion, General Secretary (Honorary) AMUOBA, Muhammad Arshad khan, presented the annual report highlighting the successes made towards the achievement of its targets.
The meeting was attended by a large number of AMUOBA members and the concerns.
