LAHORE: The medical board taking care of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said that his health is deteriorating and next 48 hours are critical for former Prime Minister.
According to sources, Dr. Mehmood Ayyaz spoke to media and revealed that the injections that were given to Nawaz Sharif to increase platelets had created further problems for his overall health.
The administered injections and steroids impacted former premier’s kidneys. The doctors had recommended to run kidney tests. The results of those tests are troubling.
He also told that cardiac machines are contributing in platelets loss. Due to the lower platelet count, conducting angiography is not possible either.
Earlier the initial medial reports stated that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had been diagnosed with Thrombocytopenia. Former prime minister’s health condition had worsened as platelets-count plummeted to dangerous 7000-level. The medical team had decided to inject Nawaz Sharif with mega-kits of platelets again.
Thrombocytopenia, also known as platelets, is a condition characterized by abnormally low levels of thrombocytes in the blood. A normal human platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter of blood.
