Former prime minister of Pakistan and supremo of Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif will return home today (Saturday) after four years of self-imposed exile.
The details available revealed, he will depart for Islamabad at 9:25 AM from Dubai Airport and will reach Islamabad at 12:30 PM by Fly Dubai flight.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, Nawaz Sharif will depart from Islamabad for Lahore at 2:30 PM, his flight will land at Allama Iqbal Airport at 3:20 PM.
Nawaz Sharif’s flight has been allowed to land, the workers are excited about the return of the PML-N leader, and convoys of workers from different cities are moving towards Minar-e-Pakistan.
In Lahore, the PML-N leadership, including Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and Hamza Shehbaz, spent a busy day on Friday for the preparations ahead of Nawaz Sharif’s arrival.
The trio also paid a visit to Minar-e-Pakistan to see the arrangements.
The caravans of the party workers coming from Balochistan, Sindh, and Gilgit-Baltistan left for Lahore and those coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab will leave this morning.
An 80-foot wide and 40-foot high stage has been set up at the Minar-e-Pakistan in the Greater Iqbal Park in Lahore. A bulletproof cabin has also been installed on the stage for Nawaz Sharif.
Organisers have claimed that 40,000 chairs have been placed in the venue, and the number could increase by the time the rally begins.
