Renowned singer Naseebo Lal was allegedly tortured by her husband. According to the police, the incident of alleged domestic violence took place in Shahdara Town, Lahore, as reported by national media.
According to a report by Geo News, police stated that a case has been registered against Naseebo Lal’s husband, and investigations into the matter have begun.
In the FIR filed by Naseebo Lal, she stated that she was sitting in the courtyard when her husband verbally abused her, assaulted her, and threatened to kill her.

It is worth mentioning that some time ago, model and actress Zainab Jamil also accused her former husband of attempting to murder her.
Naseebo Lal is widely recognized for her contributions to Pakistani folk music. She sings in Urdu, Punjabi, Saraiki, and Marwari languages and also performed the anthem for the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
For a long time, Naseebo Lal was considered an alternative to the legendary singer Noor Jehan. She has lent her voice to numerous songs in Pakistani films and has collaborated with many contemporary singers.
