ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the resumption of services at its Madinah office, effective today, following the conclusion of the Hajj season.
The temporary suspension, implemented on April 12, 2026, was in compliance with directives from the Saudi government and the Pakistani Consulate General in Jeddah.

Pakistani citizens residing in Madinah and its surrounding areas can now access NADRA’s identity documentation and registration services at the Madinah office. The reopening aims to restore convenience for expatriates who rely on NADRA for essential services.
During the suspension period, NADRA had augmented staffing at its Jeddah Registration Center to ensure uninterrupted service delivery for Pakistani citizens. This measure was part of a broader effort to mitigate disruptions caused by the temporary closure in Madinah.
For further inquiries, Pakistani citizens have been advised to contact the Pakistani Consulate General in Jeddah. Additionally, many NADRA services remain accessible through the PakID mobile app, offering a digital alternative for those unable to visit in person.
It may be recalled that the suspension of services in Madinah was a precautionary measure aligned with the Saudi government’s instructions during the Hajj season. With the conclusion of Hajj, NADRA has now lifted the suspension, allowing citizens to resume their registration and documentation processes.
