An anti-terrorism court has approved the charge sheet in the Mustafa Aamir murder case, boosting hopes that the killer Armaghan will be punished, as reported by national media on Saturday.
According to details, the investigation into Mustafa Aamir’s murder in Karachi’s Defence area is ongoing, and the case has been transferred to a trial court for hearings.
The administrative judge of the anti-terrorism courts approved the charge sheet, which states that the accused, Armaghan, confessed to torturing and injuring Mustafa Aamir and then killing him by setting fire to the car.
Police said that the abduction case was registered on the complaint of the victim’s mother, while both murder suspects, Armaghan and Shiraz, are in custody.
It is worth noting that Mustafa Aamir was abducted on January 6. A month later, on February 8, police raided a bungalow in Karachi’s Defence Khayaban-e-Momin area in an attempt to recover him. During the raid, police came under fire, and three officers, including a DSP, were injured in the shootout.
Police arrested Armaghan, who revealed during interrogation that he, along with Shiraz, had placed Mustafa in the trunk of his own car, took him to Hub, and set him on fire.
Alongside the murder case, sensational revelations about Armaghan on social media have also drawn public attention. However, the murder case remains under investigation, and only a final verdict can deliver justice to the victim.
