Realizing his longtime dream, Muslim K-pop star Daud Kim has successfully built a mosque in Incheon, South Korea.
It is worth mentioning that Kim, also known as Jay Kim, is a South Korean singer, actor, and YouTube celebrity. He announced his conversion to Islam in a September 2019 YouTube video and has since performed Umrah.
In a recent Instagram video, Kim revealed the opening of the mosque on Yongjong Island, detailing the construction process and introducing the team that helped him achieve this goal.
“Alhamdulillah I finally did it 🕌❤️ With your help, I made a home of Allah (SWT). I also know that many people are concerned. But I will never give up on my dream of building a mosque. Thank you,” he posted on Instagram.

Earlier in April, Daud Kim informed his followers about his plans to build a mosque on land he purchased for $136,500 in Incheon.
Kim expressed his desire to fill his homeland with places of worship for Muslims, acknowledging the scale of his ambitious vision but remaining hopeful. He wrote about his dream to one day hear the call to prayer echo through the streets. Despite his aspirations, Kim faced significant opposition from local residents in Incheon, who were concerned about the construction of a religious facility on Yeongjong Island.
