Netflix has announced the official release date for Stephen King’s novel based movie ‘Mr. Harrigan’s Phone’.
The film, starring IT’s Jaden Martell and Donald Sutherland, will be arriving on the online streaming service on October 5.
Stephen King’s novel
The movie is based on the novella of the same name written by Stephen King in 2020. Written and directed by John Lee Hancock, the suspenseful horror film is a story of Craig a young boy from a small town who becomes friends with an older, reclusive billionaire, they both later become very close to each other.

Mr. Harrigan once gifts him a cellphone and teaches him how to use it. When Mr. Harrigan dies, Craig puts his iPhone in his pocket before he’s buried. But one day, Craig sends a message to the smartphone and discovers that his old friend is able to communicate with him from the grave.
