At the invitation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) President, Asian Cricket Council President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Raza Naqvi left for Sri Lanka on Saturday.
The PCB chairman will watch the Pakistan-India match in Sri Lankan capital Colombo tomorrow.
Earlier, ICC President Jay Shah invited Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi to come to Colombo for witnessing the high-voltage Pakistan-India T20 World Cup clash to be played tomorrow (Sunday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting its sources.
The sources said Mohsin would travel to the Sri Lankan capital for the Pakistan-India blockbuster match. He will also meet Pakistan cricket team before the match, the sources added.
The ICC has also invited BCCI officials for the match.
There is also a possibility of meeting between Mohsin Naqvi and Jay Shah and Indian board officials, the sources said and added that an invitation for witnessing Pakistan-India encounter was also sent to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief Aminul Islam.
