MNA Ali Wazir tests positive for COVID-19

Case registered against MNA Ali Wazir over hate speech, flag desecration
WAZIRISTAN: National Assembly member and politician from South Waziristan, Ali Wazir has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Mohsin Dawar, another lawmaker from the tribal region Twitted, “Our friend Ali Wazir has been tested positive for COVID-19,” Dawar said.
He further wrote, “He is taking necessary precautions and is fine for now. We request everyone to please remember him in your prayers.”

On May 7, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has confirmed that he had tested positive for COVID-19. On a social media website Twitter, Imran Ismail said: “I have just been tested COVID-19 positive, Allah Kareem inshallah will fight it out.
“Imran Khan thought us to fight out the most difficult in life and I believe this is nothing against what we r prepared for. May Allah gives strength to fight this Pandemic inshallah, he added”. 
The Governor further said, “Will also have my family tested for the virus.” Governor Ismail appealed to the public to pray for him, saying that his health was fine. “I’m feeling better. No need to worry”, he said.

A Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Syed Abdul Rasheed tested positive for coronavirus. Later, he quarantined himself at his residence in Karachi on April 24.
On April 27, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani had contracted novel COVID-19 after he took a test which had been declared positive.
Saeed Ghani had said that he was tested negative for the coronavirus, recovering from the disease after almost a week on March 29.
