Military courts sentence 60 more accused in May 9 cases: Here is the complete list

Military courts have sentenced 60 more May 9 perpetrators, including PTI founder Imran Khan’s nephew Hassan Niazi, according to Inter-Services Press Statement (ISPR).

According to ISPR, the Field General Court Martial has sentenced an additional 60 individuals for their involvement in the May 9 violence, following the Supreme Court’s guidelines.

The trials ensured adherence to due process and protection of legal rights, according to ISPR.

  • Mian Abad Farooq: 2 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Rais Ahmed: 6 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Arzam Junaid: 6 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Ali Raza: 6 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Brigadier (Retd.) Javed Akram: 6 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Muhammad Arsalan: 7 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Muhammad Umair: 6 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Nauman Shah: 4 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Muhammad Rahim: 6 years rigorous imprisonment.

  • Raja Danish: 4 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Syed Hassan Shah: 9 years rigorous imprisonment.
  • Muhammad Abdullah: 4 years rigorous imprisonment.

  • Punjab Regimental Center Mardan Attack:
  • Zahid Khan: 2 years rigorous imprisonment.
