Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued an order to provide free plots to homeless individuals, initiating the distribution of plots in various cities of the province.
According to details, the implementation of the decision to give free plots to homeless individuals in Punjab has begun. Under the Chief Minister’s directive, in the first phase, 1,892 plots will be distributed across 33 schemes in 22 districts of Punjab.
- In Rawalpindi Division, 658 plots of 3 marlas will be distributed in 5 schemes across 4 districts.
- In Faisalabad Division, 288 plots of 3 marlas will be given in 4 schemes across 5 districts.
- In Lahore Region, 518 plots of 3 marlas will be distributed in 5 schemes across 3 districts.
- In Bhakkar Region, 131 plots of 3 marlas will be allocated in 7 schemes.
- According to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, 270 plots of 3 marlas will be provided in 9 schemes across 5 districts of Multan Region.
- In Bahawalpur Region, 27 plots of 3 marlas will be given in 3 schemes.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated, “It is my dream that every citizen of Punjab has their own home. These free plots are not a favor but our duty.”
