A man was seriously injured after his genitals were allegedly severed with a blade during an altercation at a house in Gulberg Colony, Kasur, police said.
According to local media reports, police said 36-year-old Shahid, a resident of Chungi Amar Sidhu in Lahore, had allegedly been involved in an extramarital relationship with a woman identified as Asia Bibi for the past year and a half.
Police said that on Tuesday night, Asia Bibi allegedly invited Shahid to her home, where an argument reportedly broke out between the two. During the altercation, she allegedly attacked him with a blade, causing severe injuries.
According to police, Asia Bibi’s husband, Aslam, arrived at the house shortly afterward. Police allege that the couple then assaulted Shahid before handing him over to the authorities.
Shahid was given first aid before being transferred to Bullhe Shah Hospital for further treatment. Sadar Kasur Police have launched legal proceedings and are investigating the incident.
