Man demands protection from landlord

ISLAMABAD: Accusing a landlord of trying to grab his land and issuing threats, a man appealed for police protection in Islamabad.
Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Islamabad Jodi Rajgan appealed police protection as a landlord Don Raja Jan issuing death threats to him.
He said Raja Jan also threats him for filing a fake FIR against him because he had lodged a complaint with the Commissioner Islamabad about an illegal housing society of the accused.
He said, “I am a Pakistani citizen and security is my basic right. Raja Jan harassed me in Patwari’s office in the presence of the office staff,” he added.
Bashir said that Raja Jan used to steal diesel from railway vehicles. In order to collect extortion from the Facto Cement factory, an attempt was made to collect extortion against him with the help of advertisements in his camp.
Sources said that the police are also allegedly involved in the scam. Bashir demanded the higher authorities to provide protection and action against the accused.
