According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold prices across the country saw a significant decrease on Saturday, December 6, 2025, leading to market volatility.
As per the figures released by the association, the drop in prices aligned with international market rates.
The international gold market also saw a decrease in the price of gold per ounce.
The rate for International Gold was recorded at $4198, showing a decrease of $23.
Silver prices in the local market showed no change on Saturday.
The price for silver per tola (24K) remained at Rs.6072.
The price for Silver 10 Gram (24K) also remained stable at Rs.5205.
The international silver rate also showed no change at $58.00 in the international market.
According to the Sarafa Association, gold prices are determined based on interbank exchange rates, and the purity of the gold is 999/- 24K.
