ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that besides Islamic teachings, Madrassah students should also be taught science.
The prime minister earlier met with religious scholars, where they assured him of complete cooperation for improvements in Madrassahs.
The prime minister revealed the concern that the students of Madrassah should also be given education in subjects of science and technology.

He added that the government wanted to give them an equal opportunity to be doctors and engineers.
According to sources, the prime minister and Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman met.
During the meeting, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi and other scholars also met the prime minister.
