Bollywood senior actress Madhuri Dixit has said that her sons do not need to become actors; they can instead become YouTubers like their father, Dr. Shriram Nene. She added that her husband is “amazing.”
The 57-year-old actress described her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, as an expert in modern computer and information technology (IT), noting that he is working very successfully on YouTube.
She concluded that her sons, Arin and Ryan, could become successful content creators just like their father.
Madhuri Dixit broke millions of hearts in 1999 when, at the peak of her career, she married and relocated to Denver, USA, where her husband worked as a cardiac surgeon.
However, after they returned to India with their family, Dr. Nene gained considerable popularity in public life in recent years due to his work on YouTube.
Speaking in the latest edition of a ‘Creator X Creator’ segment, Madhuri further explained that her husband possesses incredible abilities enabled by technology.
On his YouTube channel, he discusses health issues, provides awareness about protecting oneself from various diseases, and offers information on diet and wellness. She noted that this is why people are keen to watch and learn from him.
She stated that once a face becomes familiar, people begin to trust and listen to him. She added that she doesn’t feel her husband is overexposing the family to the public through this process.
Madhuri contrasted the two professions, saying that unlike working in films or shows where one has to play a character, YouTubers can afford to be themselves, which is precisely why viewers engage with the platform.
