M-tag installation on vehicles continued in the federal capital and it has been decided to start the process of installing M-tag on motorcycles in the second phase.
According to Director General Excise Irfan Memon, the formal installation of M-tag on motorcycles will begin from February 20.
Motorcycle owners will be able to obtain M-tags from 10 am on February 20. It is mandatory to bring motorcycle documents and identity card for M-tag. It will be applicable to all bikes, heavy bikes and all types of motorcycles.
So far, more than 600,000 vehicles have been issued M-tags. The process of installing M-tags is ongoing at 13 points across the city.
