ISLAMABAD: The accountability court has extended the judicial remand of former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and ex-finance minister Miftah Ismail till 28th October in the LNG case.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi along with Miftah Ismail and Imran-ul-Haque were produced before an accountability court in LNG case hearing. The case was heard by judge Muhammad Bashir.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team requested the court to extend the judicial remand of all three accused.
After the completion of arguments, the court extended the judicial remand of all three accused till 28th October.
Talking to media after the hearing, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that there were no corruption charges against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders.
He said that the government was registering fake cases in political revenge. The state has become dishonest with its own people
Abbasi claimed that the retired government officers are being threatened to become an approver in cases against PML-N. We would continue to bear this injustice against us.
