A tiger in Punjab’s Daska district has recovered after a successful jaw surgery. The tiger belonged to Kasur and was injured during a fight with another tiger.
Renowned Livestock Surgeon Dr. Rizwan Bashir supervised the complex operation, in which an iron plate was installed to repair the tiger’s broken jaw. After the surgery, the lion started eating normally again.
Dr Rizwan Bashir said, “The tiger is now able to lead a normal life. According to him, the chances of the tiger’s full recovery are bright.
The tiger is known as a powerful and dignified creature in the animal world but injuries are common in captivity or during wild fights.
Tigers and other wild animals in Pakistan often suffer from a lack of protective measures and inappropriate care.
This successful surgery in Daska is an important example not only in terms of animal care. It is also a symbol of the growing awareness of animal health in the country.
