LHC denies singer Meesha Shafi’s plea in Ali Zafar case

A verdict regarding the plea filed by singer Meesha Shafi against Ali Zafar has been announced by the Lahore High Court.

Recently, the verdict was announced by the LHC regarding the plea filed by the singer in which the court decided to disregard the plea filed by Shafi for quashing the FIR. The plea has been dismissed by the court.

In the plea, Shafi challenged the constitution under Section 20 and said they were gagging free speech, however, the plea was denied.

Now, Ali Zafar has also posted a few chunks from the long and detailed decision along with all the old screenshots and proofs. The Pehli Si Mohabbat singer also posted every detail about the case.

On the other hand, Shafi thrashed social media users who trolled her for ruining ‘someone’s life’, and not only cost them millions in brand deals but wasted a ton of his (Ali Zafar) time and name.

To which the Hot Mango Chatni singer replied that the only ‘opportunity’ an artist needs to make art is to still be breathing. “You’re not talking about making art. You’re talking about making money,” she tweeted.
