Consumers have been given welcome news ahead of Eid al Adha, as Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced uninterrupted electricity supply across the city during the festive period.

According to LESCO, no load shedding will be carried out in the Lahore region during all three days of Eid-ul-Adha, and all necessary arrangements have been finalised to ensure continuous power supply.

The Chief Executive Officer of LESCO stated that staff leave has been cancelled during Eid in order to deal with any emergency situation. Field personnel will be deployed in three shifts to ensure uninterrupted electricity transmission and the prompt resolution of consumer complaints.

A special monitoring cell will also be established at the LESCO headquarters to continuously oversee electricity supply and operational matters throughout the Eid holidays.
